what's something you'd like to do/experience but no guts?

I wanted to see what sort of things ppl would do/experience if they had the balls to do it.

Me? I think I'd have to say...

I'd like to go and explore caves all over the world. Something kind of fascinating to me about that. The small places would be one thing that holds me back. I don't think I'd be able to stand that type of enclosure.

walk on the ropes course. I hate being on thin wires and up like 49 feet in the air

I'd love to go hang gliding, especially alone. I'd go over the ocean, and along the coast. But alone is out of the question, and it would be a long shot to get me to fly, lol.

I'd like to fly a plane or drive a race car. I think I'd love the feeling of speed.

Well, I've been there and done most of those things, even clambered round a high ropes course 75 feet up in the air, lollol, and I have just a slight fear of heights, so that was quite some feet. Also, jalmost 4 weeks ago, I succeeded in getting round a high ropes course 40 feet in the air, roughly the height of my hall of residence across the road from here, lollol, but I was trussed up like a plucked bird in a shop window, so I knew if I were to fall, I'd simply dangle from the wire above my head like a puppet on a string, so that was really what stopped me from just hanging in mid air and screaming for someone to get a ladder and get me off this damn course now, so I certainly had the guts to do two high ropes courses in the space of about ten years, but the thing I'd really really love to do, would be a tandem sky dive or parachute jump, but I'd seriously freak out, not knowing when to pull the rip cord during my rapidd descent towards, well, who knows till you can see it below you?

Yes, skydiving out of a plane with someone else would be really exciting.

Hmm, I don't know. I usually try most things if presented with the opportunity. Love ropes courses. Haven't skydived yet, though I almost had the chance once. Was sick though, and couldn't go. Someday maybe.

Jen, FYI, I've been skydiving. The jump master gave me a helmet that had an altimeter in it that beeped when I got to the altitude where I needed to pull the cord. If you tandem jump, you can enjoy the thrill of the experience, but the one you jump with can navagate and such. However, I'd insist on a beeping altimeter, because if something happens to the one you are attached to, you will have to take charge and you'll want to know when to start slowing things down. Awesome experience and I'd recommend it. When my kids are grown, I'll go again.

I'd really like to learn how to fly an Airplane. There is a guy from New Zealand who has accomplished the skill and has flone from New Zealand to England. He uses a co-pilot to help with landing the plane; however, everything else he does on his own. Yep, I think it would be really fun to learn how to fly one.

I did rock climbing on one of those pretend climbing a few times and also abseiling. The only real abseil slope I've been on was one about 2 years ago in the lake district and that one was about 60 feet drop. We walked up the slope and abseiled down the side.

For me, I'dhave to say fly a plane, pilot a balloon or skydive.

If I was given a chance to try something really daring, I would go for either a bungy jumping trip with some friends or a sky diving. I’ve never tried these things, but I feel like I want to do some time around this summar. I would also like to ride on a motorcycle, I like the adrenaline rush during the ride. I think that’s about it. If I think of something else, I’ll post it here.

I'd love to talk to a Greek who doesn't know a word of English with no translator present. But my language skills aren't good enough yet and I'm too nervous. I'd also like to go to a diner and order everything and then ask for the bill in Greek without using any English, and though I'll try it, I'm sure some will slip out.
